DIGITUS® Class D Category 5e pair cables are manufactured and tested in accordance with CAT 5e ISO/IEC 11801 and DIN EN 50173. They ensure that cable installation complies with the ISO and EN channel specification, and provide excellent performance to DIGITUS® CAT 5e cabling. The performance has been tested up to 100 MHz, including performance characteristics such as the paradiaphon ("NEXT"). DIGITUS® patch cables have been specially designed to meet the needs in the various application areas in a comprehensive way. Each cable has an injected anti-crease protection sleeve with strain relief. In addition, the protective sleeve has a notch lever that prevents tangling of cables and at the same time protects the unhooking of the connector notch lever. The blue color of the connectors allows easy identification of category 5e.
